Come and join us from 8.30 weekdays, and 9.00 weekends for a really tasy selection of freshly cooked breakfast classics, alongside croissants, pastries, and cerials. Don’t forget your morning caffeine hit too, our new barista machine awaits with hot goodies for all!

Our food ambassador and Celebrity Master Chef winner/pop star, Liz McClarnon paid us a visit last week, and immediately took to her iVillage blog to get excited about our fantastic cheese fondue!

It all began when Liz came to the Kings Head to officially launch our new menu, on which she has included her very own “De-constructed Beef Wellington”. The kitchen was buzzing with activity as Liz got the team up-to-speed on her Celebrity Master Chef winning dish, much to the delight of the press invited to sample the King’s Head menu.

Being a lover of good food, Liz was keen to try some of our best loved dishes, so it was cheese fondue to start, our handmade chicken Kiev to follow, and going all fondue crazy again with our seriously chocolatey fondue with shortbread, marshmallows, and strawberries! All very retro, a little bit naughty, but super tasty!

Thursday night – Game night at The Kings Head

Our fantastic chefs here at the Kings Head have been busy creating a whole range of specials for you to enjoy, and we are excited to announce that Thursday nights is Game night!

We’ll be expanding the menu in the coming weeks, with seasonal produce and matching the dishes to our favourite wines.

To kick off this week we have a delicious slow cooked rabbit ragu, in a homemade tomato sauce, served with tagliatelle.

A little date for your diary – Thursday April 11th – get it in there, and get yourself to The Kings Head in Wye when for one night only we’ll be welcoming the “un”real Michael Buble! Jason Allen is one of the UK’s ultimate Michael Buble tribute acts, and will be belting out some of Michaels best, and most memorable tunes. The doors are open to all, so we recommend booking your table early to get a front row seat!

The Kings Head has had a fantastic opening week thanks to all the support from our amazing neighbours, friends, and regulars here in Wye and beyond. So, to properly introduce ourselves we thought it right to have a day to say “hello”, and “thanks”!

This Saturday 2nd March we’re throwing open our doors early, with complimentary drinks, and tasters from our new menu, you might even spot a Morris Dancer or two (or three, or four….).

And to kick things off to a flying start, Mark Jenkins from Channel 4′s “The Hotel” will be cutting the ribbon, and lending his wisdom in preparation for the opening of our very own little country hotel!

Don’t be shy, come along, we’d love to welcome you to your new local in Wye.

After a few weeks, lots of planning, and many, many cups of builders’ tea, The Kings Head Wye has opened its doors for business with a brand new look. Sporting a fresh colour scheme, warm natural surfaces, comfy bar seating, roaring fires, and a fantastic new bar layout, the once grand Kings Head has finally thrown off its dowdy old image. With the new menu already a hit with the locals, we’d love you to come in and see the transformation for yourself! If you’d like to book a table for lunch, dinner, or Sunday lunch (we’re open for food all day), just get in touch.

Here at the Kings head we take our food very seriously, but one of our very good friends takes her food so serioiusly she only went and won Celebrity Master Chef! Liz McClarnon, best known for being one third of girl band Atomic Kitten, is the Kings Head’s ambassador of everything foodie, and she’s lending her talents to our menu. Every month we’ll be showcasing Liz’s favourite recipes, starting with the dish that won her the title of Master Chef – De-constructed Beef Wellington. You might catch Liz as she’ll be popping in from time-to-time to make sure we’re on the ball, and for a sneaky glass of bubbly no doubt!
